Bowling Fundraiser benefiting Peaceable Kingdom, Inc.
Peaceable Kingdom, Inc is a nokill nonprofit organization that provides refuge for neglected and abandoned dogs and cats both at the shelter located on 1039 MacArthur Rd in Whitehall and in foster homes. Contributions made to the shelter go towards covering the needs of the dogs and cats temporarily residing at the shelter.
Such donations can help Peaceable Kingdom get dogs like Hazel, a beautiful young Boxer, the medical treatment they need. Hazel came to PK with a fractured Femur and recently underwent surgery. Thanks to the care of Veterinarians and Peaceable Kingdom volunteers, Hazel is doing well. But additional donations are still needed to defray the costs of the surgery and further medical care.
Peaceable Kingdom is operated by amazing volunteers that work hard to maintain the shelter and to give the animals the physical and emotional care that they deserve. They spend quality time with the dogs getting to know their personalities and quirks, play fetch, go on leisurely walks at the nearby park, and shower them with tons of hugs and kisses. The dogs and cats at Peaceable Kingdom are well cared for; their kennels are cleaned out daily and lined with warm blankets, they are given meals after their morning walks, and given toys and treats to enjoy during their down time.
Thanks to the selfless private donations of animal lovers like you and PK volunteers, the dogs are able to benefit from nutritious meals, treats, toys, warm kennels, and medical treatment. Without monetary and nonmonetary donations such as food and other supplies it would be difficult to maintain the shelter and give quality care to the rescued cats and dogs. That's why, whether it's with your time or through financial contributions, we encourage you to volunteer or donate.
Buying tickets to attend Peaceable Kingdom's Bowling Fundraiser on Sunday, April 28 from 13PM at the Hampton Lanes (326 Main St. Northampton,[url=http://www.floware.fr]michael kors paris[/url], PA) is a great way to show your support for the furry friends at Peaceable Kingdom, Inc. Tickets cost $15 and include 2 hours of unlimited bowling and shoe rental. There will also be a silent auction and raffle.
Coach Purse Bingo benefiting LCHS
The Lehigh County Humane Society has been providing shelter for abandoned and abused animals of our community since 1906 and was incorporated as a nonprofit organization a year later. The LCHS investigates animal cruelty and enforces PA anticruelty laws. It serves as a temporary home to dogs, cats, and small pets such as domestic birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and bunnies.
Since the LCHS is not funded by the government or any other animal welfare agency, it depends on donations and grants to provide food, medical care, and a clean and safe environment for the animals that reside temporarily at the shelter.
As part of their efforts to raise funds, the LCHS will be hosting a Coach Purse Bingo fundraiser on Sunday, April 7 at the Rainbow Room Bingo Hall (2413 Sunshine Road, Allentown PA). Tickets cost $25 (only 400 tickets are available). The doors and kitchen will open at 11:30AM and Bingo starts at 1PM.
