Cristal Coleman Cleared of All Charges
The said company, Cristal Clear Rentals was purchased by Coleman's husband, Dave Clark at the height of the real estate boom, in 2006. Once the business closed, the State Attorney, Mark Kohl, then decided to charge her criminally, though it was a civil matter. This was likely due to trying to make a splash in the news just days before voting day opened and he was up for reelection.
He lost the election, and new DA, Dennis Ward, investigated the matter and found no criminal intent, whatsoever. The matter has been resolved and Coleman plans to move forward with her husband and family, happy to see this behind her.
